Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting treasury operations and management for a mid-sized organization

Job Duties:

Cash Management:



  • Monitoring and Forecasting: Track daily cash positions, forecast short-term cash needs, and manage liquidity to ensure the company has sufficient funds to meet its obligations.
  • Optimizing Cash Flow: Implement strategies to maximize cash efficiency, minimize idle balances, and optimize cash flow through various financial instruments.
  • Banking Relationships: Managing bank accounts, negotiating with financial institutions, and ensuring efficient payment processes.
  • Debt Management: Involved in managing debt agreements, optimizing terms, and minimizing interest costs.



Investment Management:



  • Developing Investment Strategies: Develop and execute investment strategies for surplus funds, selecting suitable investment instruments and monitoring their performance.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate risk, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all treasury activities comply with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
  • Foreign Exchange: Knowledge with Spot trades & Swaps, derivatives



Financial Planning and Analysis:



  • Forecasting: Develop accurate cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities to senior management.


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree, required; focus in Accounting preferred


Experience:



  • Ten (10) or more years related experience, required
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Coupa/Bellin
  • Experience with MS Excel at advanced level, preferred


Software:



  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
