Savannah River National Laboratories' Hydrogen Isotope Science group is searching for an entry level scientist, preferably in applied physics to support various projects related to gas separations, hydrogen isotope effects on metals and materials characterization, and additive manufacturing. The candidate will be able to conduct the following duties:



  • Assist in the execution and design of experiments focused on the separation of gas mixtures
  • Perform materials synthesis and modifications.
  • Basic knowledge on characterizations techniques, such as XRD, SEM, BET, TGA, FTIR and gas adsorption experiments
  • Be able to collaborate with senior scientists in ongoing projects
  • Contribute to technical reports and present finding in group meetings and conferences
