The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our ServiceNow platform. This role involves ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the ServiceNow environment, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to implement and optimize ServiceNow solutions. You will be a key player in maintaining our ServiceNow platform's effectiveness and efficiency, contributing to improved service delivery and user experience. Responsibilities:
System Administration: Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user administration, access control, and platform configuration. Perform regular system monitoring, health checks, and performance tuning. Manage and implement upgrades, patches, and hotfixes. Maintain data integrity and ensure proper backup and recovery procedures. Configuration and Development: Configure and ServiceNow applications and modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management. Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies. Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance analytics. Implement and integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to end-users and resolve ServiceNow-related issues. Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems and implement effective solutions. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Participate in on-call support rotation as needed. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Participate in project planning and implementation. Maintain up to date knowledge of ServiceNow best practices. Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. Manage user roles and permissions to maintain data security Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Requirements: Education:
Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow System Administrator. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). Proven experience in configuring ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITIL, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management). Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide scripting). Experience with ServiceNow integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP). Experience with ServiceNow upgrades.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best practices. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML. Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks. Familiarity with database concepts and SQL. Understanding of web services and API integrations.
