Position Summary The Middle Market Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for generating, maintaining, and deepening relationships with Middle-Market clients with annual revenue in excess of $40 Million. The ideal candidate will utilize their existing professional network to drive new business to the bank. Strong credit and business acumen will allow the Relationship Manager to properly structure and negotiate complex credits and present loans for approval to various committees. This position will report to the Managing Director of Commercial Banking. Duties & Responsibilities Developing new loan, deposit, and fee revenue from Middle-Market prospects and clients through referrals, sales calls, and community involvement. Analyzing customers' financial data, structuring and negotiating complex credit transactions, and performing ongoing portfolio management duties. Proactively manage existing client relationships by conducting periodic reviews and providing solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals and generate additional revenue for the bank. Cross-sell bank products including private wealth Maintaining strong credit quality within assigned portfolio of clients. Complying with all bank policies and regulations. Education & Experience Knowledge of: Strong oral and written communication skills Strong sales and customer service skills Internal policies and relevant banking regulations. Ability to: Develop new business from prospects and centers of influence and cross-sell existing relationships. Analyze and interpret numerical data Analyze and solve problems of a complex nature and make decisions based on a wide knowledge of many factors where application of advanced technical concepts is required for which there are not precedents Make independent and difficult decisions within parameters of the Bank's loan policies Originate new procedures and approaches to problems Perform duties under frequent time pressures Education and Training: Requires Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Requires 5+ years of Commercial Banking experience, preferably with Middle-Market clients. Strong credit knowledge and business acumen with formal credit training preferred. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Compensation and Benefits Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
