What this job involves -

Helping our brokers/clients strategize, evaluate and execute real estate transactions to meet their business and occupancy needs. Our Transaction Manager will foster client relationships and business growth. This position will be responsible for overseeing regular reporting, memorandum documenting significant client issues and strategic planning. Additionally, will work primarily in a leadership role on complex projects, and working with other JLL resources.This position works independently and as part of a team; will supervise and manage the workload of the team This position will work on and will be asked to direct special projects/assignments as needed including working with new and existing client presentations and client pitches. Our Transaction Manager will manage and work with professionals across a wide variety of disciplines and business units. Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, and strict timelines to successful outcomes is paramount. Ability to think strategically and act proactively. Creates strong client trust and confidence. Helps team foster growth of junior talent.

Manage Client Relationships

  • Assume key transaction responsibilities for strategic clients
  • Provide advice on client transactions
  • Improve client transaction management processes
  • Work directly with clients and team members to resolve financial model, transaction and landlord issues
  • Manage transaction reporting to the clients
  • Create client deliverables
  • Manage client communication for research and marketing
  • Work directly with marketing, research and a variety of other JLL resources
  • Be client facing in development of presentations and proposals

Transactions Support

  • Independently manages and executes complex, large, and mid-size transactions with high level of proficiency and knowledge
  • Work with all JLL resources to customize reports, dashboards and analytics specific to account team usage
  • Assist team in completing many transactions and capital transactions of all types and sizes while adhering to Jones Lang LaSalle's and the Client's processes and standards for expertise and professionalism
  • Actively monitor progress of assigned transactions as well as those of direct reports
  • Collect client requirements, obtain market data, review market reports, retain real estate broker partners nationally, create drafts for proposals (RFP's), negotiate letters of intent, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and prepare approval packages for client's senior management
  • Review commission invoices for accuracy and progress on payment; assist with Dealio process, and brokerage commissions

Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications:

Required

  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • 4-8 years of relevant commercial real estate work experience
  • Seasoned transaction project management experience with proven skills in presentation creation lease/purchase and sale negotiations.
  • Experience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectives.
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts.
  • Strong, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent, analytical, communication, collaboration, organization/planning and process skills.
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence/data analytics.
  • Outstanding client service skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a team.
  • Coach and develop direct reports to reach full potential, lead a diverse team.
  • Familiar with Excel, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
