Position Summary: The Omnichannel Sales & Engagement Specialist is responsible for sustainable sales growth originating from inbound (non-walk-in) traffic, through partnership with local salespeople, and management of personal accounts. The eBusiness Omnichannel Sales Specialist mainly engages peer team members and end-user clients (Contractor or Homeowner) through online and phone communication to establish project qualification, budget, and timelines, in addition to engaging client accounts at the beginning and re-engagement phases of the account lifecycle. This position is accountable to service level agreement goals through reaction times to inbound traffic and pricing/quoting/transacting inbound traffic orders to drive Omnichannel sales. The Specialist must thrive in a team-based environment to partner with peers and vendors on projects as a leader or in a support role, and act as training conduit for other associates on the team. Protecting and enhancing customer engagement with the organization, brand, and selling platforms is at the heart of all job responsibilities and functions. This position requires fluent computer and phone operating skills. What You'll Do:
- Identify and pursue potential business and sales leads, utilizing CRM lead generating tools, Builder's FirstSource core business drivers, and leveraging field relationships to identify and follow up on prospects.
- Analyze and effectively qualify all new account prospects to ensure business viability standards.
- Actively partner with entire area sales team to assess and quantify qualified prospects and execute account warm hand-off to drive Omnichannel sales growth goals.
- Regularly communicates market intelligence, relevant trends, and lead opportunities with Manager to develop prospecting and account strategies.
- Pursue and develop business partnerships and relationships within Builder's FirstSource; to include the Area Sales Manager, Area Sales team and support staff.
- Accurately communicate prospects through written, verbal and reporting tools to ensure complete transference of key information to multiple audiences.
- Initiate outbound cold calls to select accounts with intent to re-engage account in the buying cycle and connecting to local sales team when appropriate.
- Proactively initiating handoff to market teams for in-depth customer follow-up, sales capture, or escalation resolution.
- Adhere to the Company's safety standards and enforce safety regulations.
- Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and other assigned duties.
- Support usage and adoption of eBusiness tools of customers & team members.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree or two (2) years work experience in customer service, building industry or related field.
- Two (2)+ years experience in Customer Service, Building Industry, or related field.
- Preferred experience: Call Center, CRM and Digital Tools Usage, Building Industry/Materials Supply Sales.

- Tech-savvy with ability to absorb and navigate a variety of Digital Tools; strong emphasis on ERP, Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet Based Applications.
- Ability to effectively utilize and enhance personal selling skills.
- Ability to effectively execute outbound cold calls.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Knowledge of Building Supply products and services.
- Proficient typing skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment / Physical Activity:
- Work is in an office setting and generally sedentary with physical effort associated with using a computer, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
- May be required to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional travel may be required.

In addition to the base wage listed, this position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Eligibility and the amount of the bonus varies based on overall company success, thresholds met and other terms and conditions of the Company's active bonus policy for the respective year.
