Summary of Position: Receive visitors to Division in person and by telephone. Set up appointments for division faculty and staff. Register students for tests and classes. Enter data in appropriate records and computer systems. Record student fees. Provide clerical support for division faculty and staff. This position works to promote social justice within the division and the larger academic institution.
This position is a part-time non-benefit eligible position working up to 24 hours/week (during regular business hours) with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.

Essential Functions

1. Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required. 2. Perform office functions which may include, but are not limited to: respond to internal/external customers and staff; create and modify documents, records, and reports using College standard software; maintain hard copy and/or electronic filing system; monitor inventory and budget information; schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for meetings and/or appointments. 3. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department. 4. Student Success is the cornerstone of Western's culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success. 5. Department Support - Supporting Action/Task May Include: * Receive visitors, answer telephones, provide information and take messages, direct visitors and callers to appropriate staff. * Identify, distribute, score, and record appropriate required pre-and post-tests. * Schedule appointments with division staff * Maintain and update student records * Process enrollment verifications * Provide clerical support for division faculty, staff, back-up support for other office personnel

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in related field OR
- Education in related field combined with appropriate occupational experience totaling 2 yrs. OR
- Related occupational experience totaling 2 yrs.

This position reports to: Manager - Testing and Data Starting annual/hourly salary range based on education and experience: $19.98 - $24.54 This position is a part-time non-benefit eligible position working up to 24 hours/week (during regular business hours) with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
