Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking two experienced Full Stack Engineers to join our growing development team, with a primary focus on backend engineering using Node.js and React on the front end. You will be working on RIVR, our custom-built, internal candidate application tracking system, supporting new feature development, system integrations, and application performance enhancements.

This is a backend-heavy role ideal for developers who are comfortable with scalable API development, system architecture, and efficient data handling, while still able to contribute to front-end components using modern React frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Develop and maintain a responsive front end using React, ensuring integration with backend services
• Participate in architecture planning, performance tuning, and system design discussions
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and stakeholders to implement new features in the RIVR application
• Ensure robust integration with internal systems and third-party platforms
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code with proper testing and version control
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and development issues
• Follow best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment pipelines

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack application development
• Strong backend development experience using Node.js
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React for front-end development
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling
• Experience with version control systems like Git (GitHub or GitLab)
• Understanding of authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python, especially for data processing or integration tasks
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and modern dev environments
• Experience integrating third-party services and APIs
