Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. Duties and Responsibilities |
Position provides administrative support to the two Associate Deans, assists the Student Compliance Specialist with affiliation agreement and student compliance verification processes, and serves as an administrative backup to the Executive Assistant to the Dean. General administrative duties include initiating transactions and travel processes, work orders, and meeting/event scheduling, course schedule building, support for College-level faculty on-boarding and development initiatives, and support for College- level student affairs processes. Student compliance related duties include assistance with routine notifications related to affiliation agreement expiration and renewal, communications regarding liability insurance certificates, and other recurring communications during periods of high demand. |
