Description Pen Bay Hospital Management/Leadership Req #: 41384 For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience! Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. The Women and Infant Services Department provide care to patients with a wide variety of gynecological, obstetrical, and neonatal needs, all in a family-centered environment. Services range from labor and delivery, post-partum, a high functioning nursery, and post-operative care. Pen Bay Medical Center has approximately 250 births annually. Our holistic, evidence-based care model ensures the optimal experience for the patients in our rural community. Summary: The manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Women and Infant Services Unit. This includes fiscal, purchasing, staffing, regulatory, administrative and clinical requirements. The manager will communicate the importance of the Maine Health values and emphasize the importance of the employee/customer relationship to realize positive outcomes. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred. License/Certifications: Current/Valid License in the State of Maine as a Registered professional Nurse. Current BLS and NRP certifications. Experience: Minimum 3 years nursing experience. Minimum 3-5 years Obstetrics' and Gynecology experience. Demonstrates knowledge of physician practice policies, procedures and systems.
