As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrols in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a well-known hotel and resort location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to guests and staff. You will be the first point of contact for those in need of assistance, using your communication skills to address concerns and support a positive experience for everyone on site. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the hotel and resort environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support hotel and resort staff and guests with security-related needs and inquiries as they arise.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
