Job Summary

As theRestaurant Manager & Event Sales Lead, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of all front-of-house operations while driving private dining and event sales for the venue. You will uphold the highest standards of hospitality and service, ensuring every guest experience reflects our Standards of Excellence. This role oversees the full FOH team, manages daily service operations, and cultivates event sales opportunities to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and develop all FOH restaurant staff in fine dining service standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory, and pars to maintain food and beverage cost controls.
  • Organize and lead pre-shift and departmental meetings daily.
  • Maintain open communication with culinary, bar, and management teams to ensure flawless service.
  • Manage reservation systems, create daily seating charts and station assignments, and oversee guest flow.
  • Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and organization of the dining room and service areas.
  • Investigate and resolve guest concerns promptly and diplomatically.
  • Drive private dining and event sales through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Conduct site visits, develop proposals, and manage contracts for private events.
  • Partner with culinary and beverage teams to create tailored menus and experiences.
  • Oversee the flawless execution of events, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Track event sales metrics and collaborate with leadership to meet revenue goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred, or equivalent fine dining/event management experience.
  • 6 plus years of upscale or fine dining experience, including at least 2 years in management with event sales exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service, with the ability to guide client and guest experiences.
  • Skilled in hiring, developing, training, and coaching staff.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, cost controls, and POS/reconciliation systems.
  • Ability to plan, market, and execute special events and promotions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; poised under pressure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and reservation systems.
