Team Leader

In Albuquerque we manufacture underground cable connections and accessories for the electrical distribution grid as well as fault circuit indicators and current sensors. Our industry leading Elastimold and Fisher Pierce products are used to connect, ground, splice, terminate, and protect underground power cables. Products manufactured in Albuquerque are integral connective pieces of a resilient power grid.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the shift team's progress against work plans as defined by the Supervisor to ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment, and assembly lines within a production area.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responsible for the flow of material, people, and information in a particular work area.
• Ensures operators have the necessary tools, equipment and support necessary to perform job operations.
• Work Order/Kanban Management
• Inventory Management
• DMR, Re-work, excess control, material handling, etc)
• Production Transactions
• Area Issue Management
• Scrap, tools, equipment, work orders, machine work orders, tool management, equipment relief, etc.

Qualifications for the role

• High School diploma/GED is required
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions
• Can work up to 20 hours of overtime to meet Business Objectives
