In this role you will:
- Provide technical support for end users on issues related to PC hardware and software.
- Install and provide maintenance to hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
- Perform PC imaging using current imaging technology.
- Provide tier one support for helpdesk related issues.
- Provide accurate and timely logging of problem responses, status updates, and resolution for problems.
- React to security alerts provided by any GFC Security software and follow resolution standards.
- Regularly collaborate with Information Systems team members to resolve issues related to in-house applications.
- Create user accounts and manage access control based on company policies.
- Swiftly resolve issues and facilitate successful remediation of operational issues in a high-pressure environment.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues using industry standard troubleshooting methods and any other tools available to the Information Systems Department.
- Perform adds, moves and changes to desktops, laptops and telephones including other related IT equipment.
- Work in a rotation with Information Systems team members to provide after-hours support for the company's mission critical systems.
- Write documentation for the Information Systems knowledge base.
- Engage in continuing education to stay current with the latest technologies and industry standards.
- Practice effective task and project management skills.
- Maintain and assure confidentiality of data in compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.
You should have:
- Associates degree in an IT related program or two years equivalent work experience supporting LAN related systems in a corporate environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management
- Experience in troubleshooting IT related issues.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles related to desktop and laptop computer hardware.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years' experience in an IT environment.
- CompTIA Network+ certification.
