Fairfax Behavioral Health is looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join the Business Development team in Kirkland Fairfax Behavioral Health (a UHS facility): Fairfax Behavioral Health, founded in 1930, is a private, free-standing mental health hospital that specializes in psychiatric and detox treatment. For more information, please visit us at https://www.fairfaxhospital.com/ Position Summary The Business development Coordinator is responsible for assisting with implementing the strategic goals for Outpatient Services set forth by the senior management team, building relationships, and maximizing the highest level of customer service with referral sources. The Business Development Coordinator will guide patients through the Fairfax Continuum of Care and perform clerical duties within the Outpatient department & Assessment and Referral (Intake) department. They will manage assigned Outpatient accounts and the sales functions of communication, new business development, maintaining a database of customer information, and referral follow up. The Business Development Coordinator will meet with eligible patients to discuss the benefits of Outpatient services as part of their continuum of care treatment. A thorough understanding of the inpatient workflow process, as it pertains to case management and discharge planning, is preferred. Responsible for maintaining MS4 data. Responsible for communicating services and availability as a point-of-contact for patients/families in crisis and external agencies. Operates as Business Development Liaison within the Outpatient department & A&R department, providing excellent customer service while performing clerical duties within the department. Answers phone, maintain inventory and supplies, maintain BD event calendar, manage Fairfax's social media accounts, constant contact, patient/unit records/lists and census sheet. Greets patients and families, and escorts patients from various units/departments. Ensure proper documentation of patient calls and records. Initiates additional clerical duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred. Experience: Two years minimum experience required. Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
