The Sr. Specialist, Clean Energy Assistant Program Manager is responsible for supporting the design, operations, administration, budget, marketing, performance analysis, reporting, process improvement, and customer and stakeholder engagement. The Sr. Specialist is also responsible for supporting overall implementation and performance of the program to achieve targeted growth of the program for the Company. The Sr. Specialist may support the program's processes, functions, internal program team, and contractor responsible for the implementation of the program.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Support the design, operations, administration, budget, marketing, performance analysis, reporting, process improvement, and customer and stakeholder engagement for the EV managed charging program.
- Assist in the implementation and performance of the program to achieve targeted growth.
- Support program processes, functions, internal team, and contractors responsible for implementation.
- Foster a proactive, customer-centric culture to build trust and confidence among customers, technology providers, and the sales team.
- Manage all operational aspects of the program, including planning, organizing, coordinating, and resource management.
- Collaborate with the Electric Vehicle (EV) team and other internal departments.
- Coordinate with EV business development and strategy teams to ensure exceptional customer service and optimal program performance.
- Handle administrative aspects such as program design, customer enrollments, budget management, and timely incentive payments and reporting.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on program performance.
- Facilitate ongoing development and training for employees and contractors.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize benefits.
- Support program growth through innovative design solutions.
- Manage software used for program administration and oversee data management and quality control.
- Liaise with Department of Public Service staff and represent the Company on relevant committees and interest groups.
- Represent the Company at industry conferences and meetings with external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices and environmental protection in line with Company policy and regulations.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of work experience
- Master's Degree and 2 years of work experience
Relevant Work Experience
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills, Required
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, and the ability to see the big picture as well as attention to detail, Required
- Demonstrated flexibility to handle multiple assignments and deadlines, Required
- Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, Required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), Required
- Demonstrated success in management/support of clean energy programs, Preferred
- Experience with or knowledge of electric vehicle technologies, managed charging, or demand response, Preferred
- Demonstrated experience analyzing information, both technical and financial, and making recommendations based on that information, Preferred
- Public speaking experience and technical writing skills, Preferred
- Experience working with local, County, City and State governments, Preferred
- Knowledge of implementation and maintenance of information technology projects, Preferred
- Experience working with Department of Public Service staff and the preparation of regulatory filings, Preferred

Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
