This candidate has a technical background and attention to detail enable them to identify risks, drive development with predictability and challenge assumptions. This person is a team player that does what it takes; and also has an intolerance for mediocrity and are unafraid to take a stand on what you believe is right. Team: The TDM team brings cohesiveness and standardization across the organization by focusing on supporting the feature releases of critical platforms to production environments. Our team works side-by-side with engineering teams and product teams, enabling us to have a unique perspective and break down team silos to increase communication and visibility. We work closely with teams to continuously improve the developer experience and service resilience to enable faster release and delivery with higher quality and confidence. We understand one size doesn't fit all. By embedding ourselves within the teams, we can provide the necessary support while remain flexible to their needs. Key Responsibilities *Lead the overall release delivery process, manage release activities and dependencies across products and teams *Manage overall release schedule and coordinate with cross functional groups on cross team dependencies and release readiness activities *Drive release status updates and provide clarity to all stakeholders, including the team, on progress towards the agreed milestones *Measure release effectiveness leveraging data trends and metrics to improve the overall customer experience *Support various tech initiative delivery by driving implementation planning, support testing, and go-to market planning and execution *Coordinate project activities across associated project teams; track progress against established plans, report results with project stakeholders *Develop project communications, including creation of status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, coordinating stakeholder meetings and updates, and updating project and program plans *Manage project timelines, clearly setting expectations, and realigning expectations internally as priorities change Release Management *Support all team release activities, including reviewing release readiness, creating Change Requests, scheduling, and communicating release status *Identify, mitigate, and communicate impacts/risks to the release schedule *Enforce the defined product scope/MVP and delivery priorities *Manage release calendar and monitor external team release activities, promotion activities, change freezes to reduce the risk of customer or system impact Technical Initiative Delivery *Support large-scale cross-functional technical programs by driving last-mile activities, including implementation planning, testing coordination, dress rehearsal, and go-live *Provide program support such as timeline management, resource allocation, and budget planning as needed *Streamline communication on project status, issues, and dependencies across CRT *Manage end-to-end delivery for non-capital technical enhancements and optimizations *Evaluate project outcomes and conduct post-mortem analyses to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in future projects Process Improvement and Optimization *Identifies Inefficiencies using data driven approaches, such as value stream mapping & DORA metrics for workflow and process area improvements. *Conduct regular meetings and workshops, such as Team Op Reviews to foster a culture of continuous improvement and to promote iterative process improvement by encouraging fast feedback loops. *Implement best practice, scalable process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and predictability in software delivery. Encourages the adoption of agile, lean, or other methodologies to streamline development Team Coordination and Leadership *Cultivate positive team culture and motivate team members to achieve objectives by providing guidance, support, and constructive performance feedback *Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members, ensuring alignment and transparency regarding project/initiative status, changes, and decisions. *Onboarding and mentoring of new team members to integrate them successfully into the team and support their personal growth Leadership and Communication: *Leads by example and builds teams with a confident and positive attitude, patience, honesty and integrity, and a strong sense of commitment, providing mentoring to team members *Strong problem-solving and analytical skills *Has the ability to know what is possible and what is not, and to know how to navigate project engagements efficiently and effectively *Ability to engage in difficult conversations that result in positive, actionable outcomes *Ability to navigate complex and diverse landscapes effectively *Seeks and provides honest, transparent feedback *Ability to lead high-performing project teams *Ability to set expectations and hold individuals and team members accountable to their commitments *Drives decision-making that favours compromise and alignment over consensus-building *Excellent facilitation skills; ability to adapt approach and style to different types of engagements *Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing *Skills* Release management, Release planning Technical delivery management Project management, program management, Stakeholder management, project planning, Testing quality assurance Agile, Confluence, Jira *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Summary of Qualifications and Experience *Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related field, or equivalent experience *Technology producer, Technical delivery manager, IT project management delivery or program management office experience (7 years) *Managing digital product or service delivery and release in an agile environment (5 years) *Able to work across disciplines for alignment on product delivery expectations *Exceptional communication and presentation skills *Experience working with distributed teams Acumen and Learning Agility: *Expert-level knowledge of standards and practices for IT project and program lifecycle management activities and deliverables *Understanding of IT program and portfolio management practices. *Clear understanding of project technical activities, including: (1) solution analysis and design; (2) enterprise, solution, and infrastructure architecture; (3) systems integration; (4) data conversion and migration; (5) environment management and build processes; and (6) deployment planning and execution. *Expertise in productivity/collaboration tools, particularly Jira, confluence, ServiceNow *Advanced skills in the MS Office Product Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
