Research Program Manager Dermatology Full Time 85475BR Job Summary This Research Program Manager oversees a large research program including investigator-initiated clinical trials, biorepositories, and database research. The applicant will supervise and work collaboratively with other investigators, research coordinators, data analysts, research specialists, post-doctoral fellows, and students on the team. They will also be responsible for coordinating with collaborators at other institutions. This position will require an individual who understands principles of scientific investigation and clinical trials, who can participate in all phases of research, and who is able to acquire an in-depth understanding of study protocols and make difficult decisions independently. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $80,200 - $120,300 (Annual Rate). The Department provides medical students, residents, and post-doctoral fellows in the School of Medicine, with programs in research, patient care, teaching and public service. The Department is comprised of four distinct clinical sub-units located at the Ambulatory Care Center, San Francisco General Hospital, Mount Zion, Mission Bay and the Veteran's Administration Medical Center and consists of 55 full-time faculty, 40 researchers, 40 staff, 22 residents and 6 clinical fellows. These operations are administered through various sites, interdependent sub-units, which are coordinated through a centralized Administrative Core. Required Qualifications
