Accounting and Grants Manager AllHealth Network is currently looking for a qualified Accounting and Grants Manager to join our team of passionate behavioral health service professionals. Pay Rate: $85,000 - $92,000 The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees. - Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports for the agency.
- Manage all of AllHealth Networks grants and contracts.
- Accomplishes tasks with particular emphasis on customer service and seeks to add value for the agency's Executive Committee.
Grants:
- Ensure effective financial oversight and compliance with grant-funded projects. This includes managing grant budgets, tracking expenses, billing and reporting while adhering to regulations. It also focuses on maximizing the impact of grants, optimizing financial processes and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Budget - develop and manage grant budgets ensuring they align with project goals and requirements.
- Expense Tracking - monitor and track expense to ensure they stay within approved budgets and comply with grant guidelines.
- Billing - perform grant billing according to agreements and ensure all proper documentations are prepared and stored properly.
- Cash Management - ensure adequate cash flow to support project activities and monitor cash receipts.
- Compliance - ensure adherence to all grant contracts, regulations, reporting requirements and relevant laws and policies.
- Financial Reporting - prepare accurate and timely financial reports to program directors demonstrating proper use of funds and project progress.
- Audit and Monitor - prepare for year-end Single Audit and maintain thorough documentation of all financial transactions.
- Rick and Control - identify and mitigate financial risks associated with grant management and ensure proper internal control is in place.
- Relationship Management - build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, funders and other relevant parties.
- Process Improvement - identify and implement improvements to grant management process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Accounting:
- Assist department with month-end and year-end closing journal entries.
- Assist department with balance sheet reconciliations especially related to grants.
- Assist department with preparing and reviewing financial statements.
- Assist department with developing budgets and forecasts.
- Assist department with annual audits and insurance renewal.
- Assist department with creating and implementing accounting policies, financial controls and improving accounting systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; MBA/CPA is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years' progressively responsible experience in grant management, accounting, general ledger and financial reporting.
- Experience in non-profit and/or healthcare environment is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- AllHealth Network does not employ former or current clients or family members of clients receiving treatment at any AllHealth Network facilities
Skills/Knowledge:
- Advanced level knowledge with government funding and related regulations.
- Advanced level knowledge of accounting functions, systems and related internal controls, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll and inventory. Budgeting and productivity analysis experience a plus.
- Intermediate Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUP etc.
- Self-starter - able to initiate tasks, work independently and take ownership without constant supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, productivity, creativity, problem solving, and results.
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex and diverse information.
