Genesis10 is seeking an Acquisitions Accountant. This is a 3+ month, contract role, with a manufacturing company, hybrid in Milwaukee, WI. Compensation: $28.00 - 30.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level. Schedule: Onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8-5 PM CST Responsibilities: Maintain a complete and systematic set of financial transactions in the legacy systems of the acquisitions (i.e. Epicor, NetSuite, Workday) Consolidate and report results into reporting systems on a monthly basis Complete assigned account reconciliations in compliance with Corporate policies Investigate and resolve any reconciliations identified per internal policies and procedures Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures. Document processes and assist with ongoing updates to existing policies and procedures Provide support related to internal audit and external audit inquiries Assists with various continuous improvement initiatives Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Legal authorization to work in the US is required. Preferred Qualifications Preferred 1-2 years of accounting experience CPA certification or eligible for CPA exam Understanding of US GAAP, accounting transactions, balance sheet and income statement preparation, revenue recognition, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and journal entries Strong comfort level with personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and integrated ERP platforms Willingness to participate in a hybrid work team creating a work environment where all individuals can and want to do their best work Ability to network with others and communicate effectively Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
