The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center invites applications for a Project Director. The successful candidate will direct, lead, promote and administer applied health policy research initiatives and quality improvement science implementation and evaluation collaboratives for the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC). The Project Director will design, implement, and lead evaluations for statewide quality improvement efforts and provide technical assistance for research design and interpretation of findings. Additionally, the selected candidate will serve as a member of the GRC Leadership Team, supervise project management staff, and may serve as a PI for selected projects. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required. Required Qualifications: Five years of relevant experience required, three years of relevant experience with a Masters degree. Requires successful completion of a background check and drug screen. Desired Qualifications: Quality improvement leadership experience and managerial experience; Eight years of relevant experience. FUNCTION: Business Planning and Operations The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Centers mission is to identify, research, and spread innovative practices to improve access to quality healthcare for all Ohioans through partnerships with healthcare, state, and academic leaders. The GRCs current work encompasses critical issues in public health and health services, including family health, behavioral health, Ohio Medicaid membership, management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, and health system payment innovation.
