The Position

Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Developing software is great, but developing software with a purpose is even better! As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll work on a product that helps people with the most precious thing they have - their health. In collaborative teams of developers, designers, product owners, and QA experts, you'll experience best-in-class software development practices daily and contribute to software that meets the highest expectations.

The Opportunity

The Platform Engineering chapter working on our Navify platform is looking for an experienced, motivated Senior Full-Stack Engineer who will work closely with their frontend and backend colleagues, as well as support our product teams.

You will support our efforts to improve the digital health ecosystem. You will contribute with your knowledge of frontend and backend technologies within our agile and cross-functional teams. As a flexible and open-minded person with a passion for clean code, you will be an awesome addition to our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clean, stable, testable, and performant frontend and backend code, serving our healthcare applications.

  • Build solid technical design, clean code, and future-proof architecture.

  • Guide and share your knowledge with other developers.

  • Work in and support an interdisciplinary team, together with frontend engineers, backend engineers, QAs, designers, and product owners.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant discipline and at least 5 years of experience working as a software engineer; or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant discipline and at least 3 years of experience working as a software engineer.

  • Solid understanding of the foundations of the web: HTTP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Familiar with React, Vue, Angular, or similar frameworks.

  • Familiar with the following backend technologies: Java 21+, frameworks like Spring Boot 3+, and NodeJS / Typescript

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL, etc.

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud providers.

Preferred:

  • Experienced in developing digital products, i.e., SaaS, marketplaces, e-commerce.

  • Understanding of medical, security, and privacy regulations.

  • Knowledge health/biotech/diagnostics industries.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is between $123,900 and $230,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
