Overview
VTG is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to provide logistics support to the NAVAIR PMA-207 Tactical Airlift Program. Specifically, provide KC-130J Propulsion logistics support to the C-130 Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) in support of the Propulsion Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) located in Patuxent River, MD. What will you do?
Do you have what it takes? Education: Associate's degree. 10 years or more experience may be substituted in lieu of this requirement. Allowable Substitution: A Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline may be substituted for three (3) years' experience. A Master's degree in a related technical discipline may be substituted for five (5) years' experience. Experience - At least ten (10) years of experience in integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Production activity of aeronautical weapon systems acquisition programs. At least one (1) year of defense acquisition management experience must have been obtained within the last five (5) years. Experience in a squadron operational maintenance environment will be considered to meet this requirement dependent on duties performed. Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times in order to meet customer/operational requirements. Work schedule flexibility, including location/tele-commuting is possible. DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES: Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and Power Point; well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to develop and maintain a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the Tactical Airlift Program Office support mission. Knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable: a) Navy/Marine Corps/Air Force Maintenance/Supply Practices; b) COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2C, Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) Processes; c) Aviation Weapon Systems Aircraft sustainment requirements; d) C/KC-130 Mission parameters. Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay is $80.000-$120,000 annually which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range. |
