VTG is looking for a Business Process Consultant in Chantilly VA.


What will you do?

The Business Process Consultant supports the improvement and optimization of business operations by applying analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills to both standard and unique processes. This role is responsible for identifying operational inefficiencies, assessing financial and resource impacts, and recommending solutions that align with organizational goals. The consultant works cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights through data analysis, communications, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, assess, and improve business processes across various departments to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques to evaluate current processes and identify gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise communications and presentations to leadership and stakeholders, including process maps, reports, recommendations, and change management plans.
  • Support Financial Risk Management through data analysis, scenario modeling, and control recommendations.
  • Assist in Resource and Budget Management, including forecasting, allocation tracking, and budget impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with business units to implement process improvements and monitor outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing reporting and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and process health.
  • Facilitate workshops, working groups, and stakeholder interviews to gather insights and drive alignment on process enhancements.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in business process analysis, management consulting, or operations strategy.
  • Previous experience supporting programs within the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and business scenarios.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial risk management and budget/resource planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in developing executive-level presentations and written reports.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
