About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

Your Mission
Own the Strategy: Work directly with me and other leaders to define andexecute the security strategy. Your job is to spot the blind spots and move the needle on our security posture.

Identify & Prioritize Risk: You will identify systemic risk within our Salesforce environment and related infrastructure. You will be responsible for prioritizing actions based on their impact, not on their ease of implementation.

Build the Playbook: Where security programs are weak or non-existent, you will build them. This includes creating scalable, repeatable processes and playbooks that our teams can use to secure our platforms.

Get in the Weeds: You are not just a strategist. You'll dive into code, analyze network flows, and reverse-engineer problems. You must be able to lead from the front.

What You've Done

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in a security engineering or architecture role within a high-growth tech company.
  • Proven expertise across security domains: You have a deep understanding of AppSec, InfraSec, and CloudSec. You know how these domains intersect and where they fail in practice.
  • Deep Security Experience: You've secured enterprise-level environments. This goes beyond basic administration; you understand the security model, data architecture, and integration points.
  • Built scalable security programs: You have a demonstrable track record of building and scaling security programs from the ground up, not just maintaining legacy systems.
  • Technical depth that commands respect: You can dissect code, understand infrastructure, and talk shop with engineers without hand-waving.

What We're Looking For

  • You thrive in ambiguity and build order from chaos.
  • You can think at a strategic level but aren't afraid to dive deep and execute.
  • You have a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset and prioritize real risk reduction over security theater.
  • You can translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable recommendations for engineers and executives alike.
