Overview

Job Purpose

The Compensation Manager will lead the design, implementation, and governance of global compensation programs, including base salary administration, annual incentive plans, and long-term equity strategies. This role will partner closely with HR Business Partners, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives. The Compensation Manager will also serve as a strategic advisor to the Director of Compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic compensation consulting to HR and business leaders across functions and geographies.
  • Work with a third-party vendor to oversee the annual compensation cycle, which includes performance, promotions, merit increases, bonus programs, equity grants, and compensation statements.
  • Conduct complex market analyses and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of global salary structures, job architecture, and compensation guidelines.
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; present findings to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. and international compensation laws, including pay equity and FLSA regulations.
  • Evaluate and determine FLSA exemption status for U.S. roles; interpret and apply global remuneration regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training and communication materials to support compensation programs and initiatives.
  • Manage compensation-related projects and process improvements with a focus on scalability and efficiency.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; CCP certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation
  • Experience managing an annual compensation cycle for a large global organization
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, MarketPay, and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance.
