We're seeking a results-driven, strategic sales leader to accelerate our growth across the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and with key Federal System Integrators (SIs).

Position Summary:

The Director of Federal Sales & Strategic Partnerships is responsible for leading and growing Citrix's presence across the Defense and Intelligence sectors, as well as building and expanding strategic alliances with top-tier System Integrators. This is a high-visibility leadership role with direct impact on revenue growth, market expansion, and Citrix's long-term position as a trusted technology provider to U.S. national security stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution across Defense, Intelligence, and SI segments, aligning to Citrix's hybrid multi-cloud and secure access value propositions
  • Drive direct and indirect sales and build pipeline across priority agencies including DoD branches (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.), DISA, and key IC customers
  • Cultivate deep, trusted relationships with senior federal decision-makers, including CIOs, mission owners, and acquisition leaders
  • Develop and expand partnerships with System Integrators (e.g., Leidos, SAIC, GDIT) to drive co-sell motion, influence procurement, and expand enterprise agreements
  • Identify and capture net-new business opportunities through proactive business development, early-stage capture, and strategic teaming
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Legal, and the Citrix Business Unit to tailor solutions for mission-critical use cases
  • Stay current on federal cybersecurity mandates (e.g., Zero Trust, EO 14028), cloud migration trends, and emerging procurement vehicles (OTAs, BPAs, etc.)
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to Federal Account Executives and partner-facing roles (where applicable)

Required Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in Federal sales, business development, or alliances with a focus on DoD, IC, or National Security programs
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving enterprise-level technology adoption in complex federal environments
  • Deep understanding of public sector procurement processes, federal compliance requirements, and multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Strong network within the DoD, Intelligence Community, and Federal System Integrators
  • Familiarity with Citrix or adjacent technologies in digital workspace, VDI, secure access, or application delivery is a strong plus
  • Ability to develop strategic territory plans and partner engagement strategies
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and influencing skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Active Security Clearance (Secret or above) preferred

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.
