Overview:

Affinity Customer Service is an exciting division that includes streamlining workflows and providing excellent customer service that meets or exceeds our customers' expectations. We're looking for an individual who is flexible, positive, and enthusiastic.An ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on problem solving and is a multi-tasker. In this role you would mentor and develop talent in others while responsible for daily production.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Train on, research or perform the highest complexity contract and plan administration tasks within stated quality and turnaround time standards or performance guarantees (PG's).

  • Work direct team to complete all tasks within tight deadlines according to PG's, billing schedules and established Client procedures. This includes managing team coverage.

  • Collaborate with internal resources and/or clients to resolve discrepancies. Then, analyze what is discovered to create efficiencies and/or permanent 'go forward' solutions. This includes delivering strategic and innovative ideas that streamline our processes.

  • Be an active owner, participant, or subject matter expert (SME) for projects or tasks which have a significant impact to the team. This would also include new hire training and mentorship, updating or creating documentation and other duties.

  • Assist with the development and regular delivery of reportable metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Organization, planning skilling and ability to prioritize competing tasks. Pivot as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in creating system records, researching problems and performing detailed calculations and QA of transactions.

  • Communicate effectively by adapting to your audience, actively listen, and applying those skills both verbally and in written documentation.

  • Ability to apply good judgment and think critically.

  • Take pride and ownership in everything you do.

  • Basic math skills to calculate premium, determine paid to dates, coverage amounts, etc.

  • Strong customer focus; internal and external customers.

  • Ability to work effectively and be productive both individually and in a team environment.

  • Professionalism combined with ability to remain resilient and recover quickly from setbacks.

  • Champions the success of others.

  • Be a leader of change by developing new ideas, processes, or procedures.

  • Willingness to help others and be cross trained in other departments.

  • Reliable and flexible to work overtime when needed.

  • Having an in-depth understanding the ACS Employer Market including their systems and the products they offer is preferred.

Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules.

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$20.91 - $36.54

Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
