Director, Dukovany 5&6 I&C Delivery

As the Director, Dukovany 5&6 I&C Delivery you will oversee the successful completion of the I&C scope for the Dukovany 5&6 project. You will manage the I&C scope, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing and commissioning support of the KHNP APR1000 nuclear power plant units. The I&C Director will ensure that the scope is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

You will report to the Senior Project Director and be based in the United States as a remote employee.

• Develop project progress metrics to ensure team and partners are kept informed of MMIS scope status. Provide inputs to top level project reports (internal and external).
• Maintain relationships with customers KHNP, Doosan and KEPCO E&C.
• Develop people, organization, core processes, and necessary interfaces to accomplish activities/work scope.
• Apply lessons learned from current and past project activities.
• Report activities and ongoing progress to the Dukovany Project Director.
• You will have no team member managerial responsibility.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Advanced degree in Business or Engineering helpful
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large engineering and procurement projects.
• Experience managing large projects, complex projects and project teams from launch to completion.
• Experience working and leading across matrixed organizations.
• Above average ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, with customers for whom English is a second language.
• Knowledge of nuclear power plant design, construction, operations and regulatory requirements is required.
• Experience working directly with a Korean Customer (Doosan, KEPCO, or KHNP) along with customer interface skills.
• Work history in a multicultural and diverse team environment
• Travel to domestic and international sites (10 to 30% minimum).
• Familiarity with a broad range of nuclear plant design, licensing and operational areas.
• Familiarity with the APR1400 nuclear reactor technology.
• Experience managing large I&C projects.
• Westinghouse Program Management certification or PMI PMP certification.
• Experience using SAP and Primavera P6
