What the day will look like

As a Delivery Excellence Program Manager, you will coordinate strategic initiatives across multiple Aon and CoverWallet teams and deliver results that have a global reach and impact. We are looking for an experienced program management professional with a track record of delivering different types of initiatives that have had a positive impact on the business. This position will also contribute towards establishing best practices in project management processes and tools and help us develop this function as we scale.

You will work in a fast-paced environment leading strategic initiatives that have a global reach and impact at Aon. In this capacity, you will interface and collaborate with a wide set of stakeholders including Executive Leadership, Product, Engineering,Operations,SalesandvariousBusinessteams.

How this opportunity is different

We are looking for an individual who can work collaboratively to:

• Lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives that help Aon and CoverWallet scale globally
• Manage all aspects of each initiative including establishing goals, identifying all necessary work streams and leads, setting timelines, and identifying and resolving risks
• Anticipate bottlenecks during initiatives, assist with escalations, and help cross-functional teams make the right trade-offs and decisions at every stage
• Communicate status, risks and decisions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Analyze and manage performance metrics to meet company and program goals
• Be a strategic partner cross-functionally offering valuable insights and skillsets to support strategic objectives including process optimization, risk management, continuous improvement, value realization, and data monitoring and analytics
• Work closely with executive leaders, Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Business teams to ensure effective teamwork, communication and collaboration

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in Program Management leading

cross-functional corporate, digital transformational, process optimization, and software development initiatives. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

• Proficiency in Program Management principles and processes
• Insurance industry or technology sector experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage multiple, disparate projects and stakeholders and 'keep the trains running' in the right direction
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
• Analytical thinker who can understand qualitative and quantitative metrics to identify root causes and help influence decisions at the strategic and tactical level
• A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using project management software

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $134,000 to $170,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
