The Opportunity

We're looking for a Sr. Full Stack Engineer with expertise in platform and infrastructure to become an early member of our growing team! In this role, you will help shape the technical foundation of an emerging creative system, designing and maintaining the core services and integrations that support our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to build robust, scalable systems, and contribute to user-facing features that bring advanced creative tools to life in the browser.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop web services to offload creative workflows to the cloud.

* Build backend APIs that enable flawless communication, collaboration, and social interaction among users.

* Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments to ensure efficient and reliable deployments.

* Full-stack development for web-based creative tools and experiences

* Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers, to steer decisions towards efficient, high-quality solutions.

* Write maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code to ensure long-term stability and scalability.

* Provide technical guidance on best practices for infrastructure and web development, establishing a solid foundation for future growth.

What you need to succeed:

* Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with a focus on infrastructure and scalable systems.

* Programming Skills: Proficiency in modern programming languages such as TypeScript (Node.js).

* APIs: Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and efficient web services.

* Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and related infrastructure tools.

* CI/CD: Strong understanding of continuous integration and deployment practices, including tools like GitHub Actions. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

* Databases: Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).

* Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a track record of working well with cross-functional teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $153,600 -- $286,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
