The pay range for this position is $83,000 - $100,000 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Program Manager, Safety to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Program Manager, Safety, you are responsible for leading the implementation and integration of the RAYUS Radiology Safety Program, as well as the development, implementation, promoting, and maintenance of the organization's integrated Safety Program. This program manager is part of the legal team, servicing our nationwide imaging locations and assists in the resolution of deficiencies impacting safety related compliance and regulatory standards and works closely with the safety team to ensure consistency and execution of the Safety Program.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Shifts are from 8am-5pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(70%) Safety Program implementation



  • Adherence to RAYUS' commitment to compliance, safety, and ethical standards
  • Identify potential workplace hazards that could cause injury, such as illness, damage to patients or team members, or property.
  • Identify, research, and complete special projects to implement specific solutions for clinical, safety and operational problem, as related to compliance with safety and risk management regulations
  • Maintain current knowledge of existing safety and quality related regulatory agency standards, while proactively researching proposed safety and quality related regulatory agency standards to gain knowledge of and educate yourself, while proactively training others to ensure compliance.
  • Research and advise on applicable standards of accrediting bodies, including ACR (American College of Radiology) and IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) to support compliance
  • Assist in drafting and/or revising companywide safety trainings and related communications in accordance with companywide and accrediting agencies' standards.
  • Develop and implement safety training initiatives for all team members
  • Promote and support continuous safety related process and quality improvement efforts
  • Participate in committees and work groups in support of company safety initiatives
  • Conduct internal safety audit visits, as assigned, throughout RAYUS's national network of clinics and business locations/units.
  • Assist in drafting, updating, implementing, and maintenance of safety policies and procedures
  • Able to recognize and empathize with various RAYUS stakeholder roles and their needs to provide solutions that adhere to companywide standards and compliance requirements
  • Applying a high degree of professionalism and promoting a collaborative and non-punitive approach, conducts confidential root cause analysis' for all adverse safety events and schedules correlating action planning investigative meetings to quickly create and implement corrective action plans, including action plans to improve quality of patient care, to resolve the issue.
  • Support and assist with the implementation of performance improvement plan initiatives



(10%) Infection Control Prevention



  • Identify potential infection risks
  • Create infection control quality improvement initiatives and related training
  • Assist Markets' in implementing safety protocols and successful team member training



(10%) Data Analysis



  • Regularly review safety and quality data analytics to identify trends and support reporting activities in an effort to promote continuous quality improvement and safety enhancements
  • Conduct industry research and analyze safety trends and best practices in the industry
  • Report any data patterns and trending to the Safety Officer for review
  • Work to maintain, and enhance, effective trend reporting methods



(10%) Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN or BAN)
  • Have and maintain current Registered Nurse licensure
  • One (1) year experience in a safety related role, or formal training/education in the field of safety
  • Two (2) years' experience with setting safety efforts in healthcare
  • Working knowledge of healthcare Infection Control standards
  • Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP), or the ability to obtain this certification within the first 12 months of employment
  • 25% travel to nationwide locations, via airplane and automobile, including day trips and overnights up to 5 days
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license; if driving a personal vehicle must have and maintain current vehicle insurance coverage
  • Ability to work remotely in a private setting/location to maintain patient and company confidentiality



Preferred:



  • Experience in medical imaging, interventional radiology or similar
  • Knowledge of radiologic science standards, regulations, and equipment
  • Certified Ambulatory Infection Preventionist (CAIP), or Infection Control Practitioner (ICP)
  • Knowledge of adherence to American College of Radiology (ACR) and Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) guidelines and standards
  • Knowledge of federal, state and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of Life Safety Regulations, such as National Fire Protection Association (NFP) standards
  • Knowledge of emergency management and responses to incidents, such as natural disasters, active shooter, etc.
