SITE Staffing is recruiting for a Production Supervisor. This is a direct hire, 2nd shift position. The ideal shift is Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm-12:30am.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers
- Supervise workflow, managing due dates, identifying efficiencies/deficiencies, confirming Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are being followed and documents are being filled out correctly
- Assign production schedules and tasks to ensure that production builds and priorities are being met
- Provide recommendations and input into the employee evaluation and disciplinary process(es).
- Generate ideas and implement changes in processes and use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce costs, and improve employee morale
- Ensure safety in all areas of responsibility and adherence to all safety rules and programs
- Ensure personnel are following schedules, including start time/end of shift and break/lunch schedules
- Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications
- Participate in revision of departmental SOP's and other CGMP documents, as needed.
- Participate and aids in hiring decisions
- Qualifications:
- Previous Manufacturing leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Proficient in Microsoft programs
- Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associated as well as plan, monitor and schedule work
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Able to evaluate current processes and procedures for opportunities to implement new and necessary improvements and/or additions. | |
