POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' HR Coordinator is responsible for the timely processing of day-to-day data entry, management/analytics, and ownership of the salary onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will have clerical experience, entering details in an HRIS or other software, intermediate skills in Excel (creating spreadsheets, pivot tables,) and an understanding of supporting a variety of HR administrative duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiates, reviews, and enters employee all salary new/rehires information into Moss payroll software (Workday)

  • Run new hire demographics, and employee verifications including but not limited to: Background Checks, E-Verify, and Department of Revenue

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal Form I-9 requirements, including accurate completion, verification, and retention of employment eligibility documentation.

  • Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Moss HR policies

  • Process requests and maintain compliance for DOT Driver Files for CDL and Non-CDL drivers

  • Provide exceptional customer service to team members regarding any Human Resource questions or issues

  • Compile/draft/pull/operate spreadsheets, reporting on general outbound staff metrics, onboarding, termination, turn-over rates, etc.

  • Document/Data production will be essential for Management and Executive teams and can be requested at any random time for events, operations, or department updates

  • Maintain employee files within data systems: termination dates, updating any general and specific information promptly

  • Provide oral and written employment verifications

  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • High School Diploma or GED, college coursework is considered; a combination of training and work experience

  • MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat proficiency required

  • Maintain integrity, dependability, attention to detail, cooperation, and stress tolerance for fast a paced environment

  • Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism regarding personnel information and sensitive subjects

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage time, prioritize work effectively, and remain productive amid frequent interruptions

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills and phone etiquette

  • Demonstrates detailed knowledge of company goals and missions

  • Capable of establishing and nurturing longstanding relationships with industry professionals

  • Service orientation - actively looking for ways to help people
