Responsibilities New York Tech's (NYIT) de Seversky Mansion is seeking a part-time Bridal Party Attendant to work for our catering facility at the Long Island (Old Westbury) campus. This person will be responsible for providing professional Bridal services to the Bridal party and guests to ensure a successful wedding experience. Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Sales Department for the event drop-off and set up of personal items which may include place cards, gift box, pictures, guest book, cake topper, amenity baskets, cake knife and server, champagne flutes, party favors, etc.
Qualifications Educational Requirements: (High School or Equivalent), or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Minimum 2 years relevant experience. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with peers, subordinates, supervisors, parents, and outside agencies. Positive and professional demeanor and works well within a team setting. Varying schedule that will include weekends, holidays and 10-hour shifts as business dictates. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Stand and walk for long periods of times. Able to lift a manage trays of food and glasses with weights at times exceeding 25lbs. Must be willing to work in both indoor and outdoor settings where varying weather and temperature conditions can be expected.
