Southern New Hampshire University is seeking student employees to fill the role of Grant and Persuasive Writing Assistant with our partner organization Center for the Arts Lake Sunapee Region. The Center for the Arts (CFA) is a student employee to support the communications needs of our dynamic and growing arts organization. These are excellent opportunities for students or emerging professionals interested in writing, communications, marketing, or public relations. The Grant & Persuasive Writing Intern This intern will contribute to the development of persuasive narratives for grant proposals and fundraising materials. This position is perfect for someone interested in nonprofit development, grant writing, or advocacy communications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Writing and editing content that tells compelling stories of CFA's mission and impact
  • Assisting in the development of grant narratives and case statements
  • Supporting the fundraising team with clear, emotionally resonant communication

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized
  • Experience with organizing information and writing

Work Schedule: Approx. 5-10 hours weekly

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
