Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is hiring - join our team as a Digital Experience Specialist! This is a fantastic opportunity if you have a passion for best-in-class digital user experiences.

Schedule/Location:



  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule where 2-3 days of your work will be onsite at our modern and amenities driven Lake Forest office location and the rest will be spent working remotely.
  • Local Northern IL/Southeast WI/ NE Indiana candidates only!


As a Digital Experience Specialist, you'll be responsible for creating best-in-class digital user experiences for our members. You'll work cross-functionally to manage online banking projects from start to finish that are related to new features and enhancements for CCU members. Also, you'll ensure the member is first by recognizing pain points and friction to identify opportunities to improve the member experience.

Major Duties and Responsibilities



  • Manage the implementation of both major and minor changes and enhancements with internal stakeholders and technology partners. Oversee the full project lifestyle such as discovery, requirements gathering, development collaboration, testing, launch, and post launch evaluation. phases, and measure outcomes for continuous improvement Projects may include backend upgrades, system improvements, and user-facing enhancements.
  • Identify common member experience opportunities through a variety of listening methods including survey responses, stakeholder feedback, behavioral analytics, and support tickets. Combine qualitative and quantitative data with UX/UI best practices to recommend solutions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for digital banking experience and platform. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of digital banking platform capabilities. Document user journeys, and wireframes. Stay informed on trends, competitor strategies, and best practices.
  • Ensure the experience aligns with brand standards and accurately represents products and services. Collaborate closely with CCU Marketing and Product teams. Help deploy related content in digital banking.
  • Participate hands-on in quality assurance and testing activities including preparing test cases, validating data, identifying and tracking issues, and confirming successful resolution. Review and respond to member feedback through various channels, sharing progress and implementation status.


    Qualifications:




      • High School diploma required. Bachelor's Degree in UX/UI, Business, Technology, Sciences, Arts or Related is preferred.
      • UX/UI Certification is preferred

      • 3-5 Years' Experience in Digital / Interactive Project Management or related is required.



      • 3-5 Years' Experience in Leading cross functional resources and vendors is required.



      • 3-5 Years' Experience in Authoring Test Cases, Functionality Testing, Regression Testing, or Related is preferred.



      • Enthusiasm for and strong interest in delivering a great web/mobile user experience. You just don't work on the user experience; you live and breathe it!



      • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with members and cross-functional colleagues



      • Computer proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and SharePoint


      • Knowledge of common project management tools such as Microsoft Project and working with the creation and editing of Microsoft SharePoint pages

      • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills



      • Excellent organizational, time management and detail orientation skills







      Compensation & Benefits:

      Budgeted amount for annual salary is $70,000. Position is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity.
