About the Role: We are looking for an Oracle/Databricks Database Developer to join our IT Analytics Team. The Data Base Developer provides direct end-user support for our reporting environment users as well as support for BI Developers. They will investigate, analyze and fix data issues in all areas of the environment and will be responsible for gathering requirements, and designing and implementing new data solutions with our enterprise toolset.

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within United States.

Pay and Benefits:



  • $133,000 - $171,000 per year
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities:



  • Data Base development related to Data Warehousing, Data Mart and BI Applications
  • Gather and document requirements for BI initiatives
  • Develop and maintain data-related components of BI solutions according to best practices
  • Secure data according to best practices
  • Assist with the development of ad hoc queries and analyses

Required Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and Management
  • Minimum of 8 years Oracle Data Base experience designing, implementing and supporting tables, indexes, views, procedures and functions through DDL and PL/SQL
  • Demonstrated experience supporting global month end process and financial business hierarchy solutions
  • Experience designing, documenting and supporting batch networks
  • Experience working as an analyst focused in one or more of the following functional areas: Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance
  • Experience working in a formal change management environment
  • Possess the necessary analytical and technical skills to perform the role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10%



Desired Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 3 years Cognos Reporting/Analytics experience (Cognos 11), including Framework Manager and Transformer
  • Knowledge of ITIL (e.g. Service Now) concepts as they relate to change management
