Henry Ford Health is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Athletic Trainer to support our student athletes at Detroit Country Day. About Detroit Country Day:

Detroit Country Day School is a private preschool through grade 12 college prep school located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. An MHSAA Class B school, DCD competes athletically mostly as an independent school. The DCD Yellowjackets field over 30 varsity teams and has over 600 student-athletes. The athletic trainer's primary responsibilities will be at Detroit Country Day Upper School; however, additional hours outside of the school for Henry Ford Health may be assigned. The athletic trainer will effectively communicate with Henry Ford Health sports medicine staff and the team physician to coordinate medical care for the DCD Athletics community.

What You'll Do:

• Provide athletic training services to our athletes at Detroit Country Day.
• Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and Detroit Country Day to help coordinate various appointments within the health system.
• Collaborate with assigned Henry Ford Health team physician and various healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Play a hands-on role in helping athletes reach their peak performance by delivering individualized care for both injuries and overall wellness.
• Educate on best practices for maintaining health and promote long-term wellness.
• Expand your skills by offering services beyond the school, including assisting in physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.
