Overview

Presbyterian is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance

Specialist - Infrastructure to support and enhance our enterprise-wide compliance functions. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and advancing our organizational integrity by ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the management and implementation of compliance education programs and related policy processes.

Coordinate the annual Conflict of Interest (COI) disclosure, collection, and tracking process.

Assist with updates and revisions to the organization's Code of Conduct.

Manage vendor credentialing processes to ensure regulatory compliance and internal standards are upheld.

Conduct and manage compliance-related surveys and analyze results to support continuous improvement.

Maintain and update the compliance department's internal and/or external web pages.

Support various compliance initiatives and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
  • 3-5 years experience in a healthcare position, compliance experience preferred
  • Experience in leadership of cross functional teams and/or project management
  • Experience in communication plan development and deployment for large workforce populations
  • Experience in creating and presenting training programs
  • Technical writing and/or policy writing / editing experience
  • Experience or willingness to learn super-user role or contributor to document management systems
  • Experience or willingness to learn super-user role for a Learning Management System, particularly in generating system-wide completion reports
  • Experience or willing to learn SharePoint site administration skills to assist in maintaining department webpage

Responsibilities

Compliance Education:

  • Develops and manages compliance education programs as required by regulations for Presbyterian Boards of Directors
  • General workforce compliance education programs
  • Job Specific compliance training, based on risk assessment
  • Orientation programs for new workforce: Ensure that key compliance content (regarding the hotline, Compliance Program and key compliance risks) is addressed in Brilliance and Medical Staff Affairs orientation.
  • Present regarding compliance risks at New Manager Orientation and New PMG Leader Orientation.
  • Non-Employee compliance training: Collaborate with Human Resources, Talent Development, and Information Technology departments to ensure that legally mandated pre-work and training requirements for non-employee workforce are completed and documented.
  • Regular reporting to PHS Board Compliance and Audit Committee and Ethical Business Practices Committee on training programs and training completion status.

Policy Management:

  • Chairs system-wide Policy Standards Committee and acts as organizational advocate for policy creation and revision standards and processes.
  • Manages policy numbering, templates and naming conventions for PHS and PDS.
  • Manages automated policy notification, review and approval workflows for PHS and the delivery system (PHP processes are managed elsewhere).
  • Regular reporting to PHS Board Compliance and Audit Committee, and Ethical Business Practices Committee on policies and current / overdue status.
