Department:Agricultural Education Communications and Technology Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Department of Agricultural Education, Communications and Technology in the Dale Bumpers College of Agriculture at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a non-tenure track up to three-year position as Instructor to start in August 2025. For a three-year merit based renewable appointment position to be considered, the candidate should provide at least three years of evaluations as instructor of record illustrating high quality teaching effectiveness. For a one-year appointment position with the potential for annual reappointment to be considered, the candidate should provide at least one year of evaluations as instructor of record illustrating high quality teaching effectiveness. The duties and responsibilities of this Instructor in Agricultural Education, Communications and Technology include: lead classroom instruction, provide curriculum materials, construct syllabi, create and give exams, and provide other scholastic guidance; collaborating as part of a team by serving on appropriate departmental or college committees; utilizing excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; and maintaining an understanding of current educational issues and initiatives. Manage departmental student recruitment; assist with departmental website management; other duties as assigned Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
