Responsibilities
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Product Owner to join our data team. As a Product / Program Owner, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data-related products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality data solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about leveraging data to drive business growth and product management efficiencies. Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall data team strategy and business goals
- Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand user needs, and translate them into clear and actionable user stories
- Create and maintain roadmap, incorporating input from various stakeholders and ensuring efficient delivery of features
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the data team and other teams to ensure successful execution of projects
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to the development team throughout the product development lifecycle
- Monitor and analyze product performance, user feedback, and data metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous product optimization
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in the data field, and apply relevant knowledge to enhance product offerings
- Applies advanced understanding regarding Agile and Product Management trends/changes, best practices, and processes to complete assignments and influence the direction of horizontal level solutions
- Develops and reports on metrics related to team effectiveness and utilizes analytics to implement strategies to improve team performance. Coaches the team toward self-organization. Demonstrates the ability to influence and negotiate the scope and delivery.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a data-driven environment
- Strong understanding of data concepts, tools, and technologies, including data warehousing, data analytics, and data visualization
- Strong AWS technical stack
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable user stories
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks such as dependency, and risk management.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of successfully delivering data products, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple priorities
- Strong business and data acumen and the ability to align product strategies with organizational goals
- Good understanding of the agile software tools such as V1, GIT, JIRA, etc.

- Potential starting salary range: $70,000 - $105,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
