The Department of Population Health and Disease Prevention is one of four departments within the newly named Joe C Wen School of Population & Public Health. The mission of the Department is to integrate perspectives and methods from multiple disciplines to study the social, behavioral, and biological drivers of well-being across populations, including the impacts of infectious and noncommunicable diseases. Your Role on the Team The Health Educator will develop comprehensive educational modules on plant-based dietary patterns specifically tailored for perinatal care. This fixed-term contract position requires an individual who can work independently to create evidence-based curriculum materials, practical case studies, and clinical scenarios for obstretician gynecologists training while designing effective communication tools for patient counseling on plant-based nutrition during pregnancy and postpartum periods. The successful candidate will conduct literature reviews to ensure materials reflect current scientific knowledge, collaborate with the research team to develop an online digital learning platform, and contribute to scholarly publications. Working under the direction of Dr. Matthew Landry, this role demands proactive management of project workflow to meet established weekly and monthly deliverables while maintaining regular progress updates with relevant stakeholders.
