Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for all our clinical systems implementations that Clinica IS oversees. This position will assist clinical IS with any maintenance of the Clinical System. This position will provide clinical IS with assistance on education, training, and support to physicians, clinicians, and ancillary staff. . The Analyst serves as a liaison with Corporate IS, physicians, departments and other customers with clinical related IS issues. Participates with supporting clinical, ancillary and financial applications. Duties include report creation and other duties as assigned. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Ability for abstract reasoning and a talent for explaining the abstractions in concrete terms. 3. Able to communicate with all staff levels. Excellent communication skills and good analytical skills to resolve system problems. Able to travel 25% of time. Travel to different facilities is required. 7. Flexibility of schedule. 8. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer. 9. Basic computer and reporting skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications required. Comfortable and confident interacting with physicians and clinicians at all levels. EDUCATION / LICENSURE: 1. Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing, Information Systems or related field or a minimum of 3 years of clinical systems experience in a health care setting. 2. Should have experience utilizing personal computer hardware and software, preferably with Cerner or a Clindoc software 3. Experience with report writing and/or report creation.
