• The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.

• The Surgical Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Surgical Services Manager.
• The Surgical Coordinator will work in cooperation with other surgical staff to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• The Surgical Coordinator performs duties relevant to surgical operations such as managing incoming new product requests, vendor notification, preference card management, participating in schedule lookahead, radiology badge management, participating in tissue tracking procedures, ordering replacement items for the OR, and participating in the inventory process.
• The Surgical Coordinator works closely with materials management as well as surgical services leadership to ensure effective care delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Two years' experience working in the surgical environment
• Current knowledge of physician clinic or hospital operations

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Functioned as a Surgical Technician or Circulator
• Epic experience
