The Role

Our Energy & Utilities Consulting group is looking for a Consulting Principal to join our journey.

We're looking for Consulting Principal who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consulting Principal (which is an Associate Director level position) this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues. Overview:

As an Asset Management Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll be a key resource for all things Asset Management, providing expertise in developing and implementing asset management strategies, processes, and technologies, while also ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide strategic insight and cross-industry views to enhance asset management practices within utility companies.

* Integrate with client organizations to understand their business and culture, identifying the best outcomes for asset management

* Develop and implement asset management strategies to improve operational efficiency and reliability.

* Conduct assessments of current asset management practices and recommend improvements.

* Collaborate with various departments, including IT, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of asset management solutions.

* Troubleshoot and resolve asset management issues.

* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

* Analyze asset performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

* Prepare and present reports on asset management activities and performance.

* Utilize advanced analytics to provide insights into asset performance and maintenance needs.

* Support clients through organizational change, ensuring successful adoption of new asset management practices.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective asset management.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Extensive experience in asset management within the utilities sector.

* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Proficiency in using asset management software and tools.

* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or Management degree strongly preferred

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 23rd, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $122,400.00 - $194,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
