Presbyterian Healthcare is hiring a Manager-Technical Vendor Management. The IT Technical Vendor Management Manager is responsible to be the liaison with strategic IT infrastructure vendors and is responsible for assuring that the organization achieves its business objectives through effective, productive relationships across all levels of the organization and with key providers. The IT Technical Vendor Management Manager is key in achieving end-to-end business and service outcomes in multi-sourced hybrid service ecosystems. The IT Technical Vendor Management Manager will coordinate service delivery of each service provider according to the contracted services, specifically the IT Service Desks, outsourced enterprise infrastructure service providers, Desktop Support, Vitalyst and Print Services. The IT Technical Vendor Management Manager will be responsible to manage service level objective and vendor financial performance to budget. The manger will serve as a critical integration point of contact with the Enterprise IT Governance Committee, the IT Contract Management and the Service Integrated Management team services to improve end-to-end management of Presbyterian*s hybrid IT services ecosystem. The IT Technical Vendor Management Manager reports to the Director Integrated Service Management.

Prefer Qualifications

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in contract , financial, and project management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as an individual or in a group setting.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, technology, and industry best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Adaptable and open to change, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL and ServiceNow a plus


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in related technical/business area plus 4 years of IT or business experience. 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • Other Minimum Experience:
    Strong organizational skills, with the ability to analyze processes, identify contributors, work across organizational boundaries and prioritize actions

  • Ability to develop strong knowledge of the technology or service delivered by the vendor, its market, strategic plans and innovations, competitors, challenges and market trends


Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Governance Excellence
    Responsible for developing and presenting operational, financial and IT solutions to departmental and Enterprise IT governance structures. Accountable for internal and external communications (within IT, external to IT, and external to PHS).
    Collaborates with IT, operational and clinical leaders supporting departmental plans, identifying IT solutions and delivering business value
    Responsible for designing and implementing vendor management processes that are aligned with business and Enterprise IT Governance processes

  • Operational Excellence
    Manage and monitors vendor and contract performance terms
    Work collaboratively with IT and business service owner to achieve business objectives
    Develop working level agreements with service owners and service providers
    Evaluate emerging SLA/OLA offering

  • Workforce Engagement
    Responsible for assessing and supporting technical and operational team staffing and skills requirements, coaching and mentoring team members, setting goals and expectations with appropriate Service Owners and staff and monitoring of progress over time.

  • Service Excellence
    Provides strategic vendors with the resources necessary to facilitate IT projects and management, including business requirements, process documentation, relevant materials, status updates and feedback mechanisms
    Responsible for supporting department level metrics/goals and objectives, as well as reporting service accomplishments and plans on a regular basis
    Work collaboratively and dynamically with service providers and PHS service owners

  • Industry Excellence
    Responsible to develop subject matter expertise with best practices, contract and pricing models, service delivery, performance management, methodologies and processes utilized with IT service providers
    Responsible for implementing and executing compliance with all regulatory and security requirements associated with system design, implementation, and ongoing support.
    Responsible for supporting well accepted framework-based best-practices
