Overview
As a Digital Supply Chain Architect your primary responsibility will be supporting our supply chain customers in their journey to digitize and automate their warehouse capabilities. You will be working with the customer on creating high level requirements and translating this into POC capabilities and then working with the Digital Supply Chain team to productionize and evolve these solutions. This highly visible position will be working with our both our commercial and government customers in the capacity of helping them modernize and move to the cloud. This role is responsible for leading the design and being the point of contact for a given customers and/or applications, assisting with driving delivery of the customers desired technical outcomes. What will you do? Create and execute digital supply chain strategies by designing, developing, and managing infrastructure and assets to help a business meet its goals Create cloud connection strategies by designing, developing, and managing secure cloud infrastructure and assets to digitize the supply chain. Architecting cloud native applications being developed on a large cloud provider (GCP, Azure, AWS, or Oracle) Develop Cloud Migration strategies and oversee application migration execution Develop and implement DevSecOps strategy meeting customer and security requirements Managing the technical design of digital supply chain services that span integrations, storage, databases, networking, and cloud capabilities, with an understanding of across the full IT cycle. Make recommendations for digitizing and automating supply chain services to use for optimal performance and scale, as well as provision, ensure sufficient capacity, monitor, and adjust as Bridging the gaps between complex business problems and solutions in the cloud, while working with other members of the technology team including DevOps engineers and developers to ensure that the right technology or technologies are being built. Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders who are both technically as well as non technically skilled. Travel to various warehouse locations to validate, test, troubleshoot, and update solutions as needed as part of the implementation team or as an individual working with clients on site. Do you have what it takes? Requirements BA or MS degree in Information System, Computer Information Systems, or related Minimum of 5 years of applicable Familiar with and able to execute security processes such as STIGs, Boundary Diagrams, Security Controls, and implementing scanning as part of the Hardening and Risk Mitigation. Strong background in cloud computing with deep understanding of: Containerization, laaS, PaaS, High-Availability, Disaster Recovery, Continuous Monitoring, Security, and cloud Experience in the digital supply chain solutions integrating with network devices, servers, scanners, and RFID tags along with understanding of various integration patterns used. Ability to adapt and quickly translate experience to new providers and Strong understanding of programming and scripting languages and security concepts. Strong oral and written communication skills Must be able to articulate your ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical Nice to Have'sActive Secret clearance Architecture certification in either AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Experience with Serverless technologies and Kubernetes Strong background and experience with data model consolidation |
