Overview
VTG is seeking an Senior Maintenance Operations Logistics Manager in Patuxent River, MD to provide guidance and technical input to maintenance managers in performing maintenance and management functions in support of aircraft, aircraft systems, training, or support programs.
What will you do?
- Provides guidance and technical input to maintenance managers in performing maintenance and management functions in support of aircraft, aircraft systems, training, or support programs.
- Reviews recommended changes from fleet and other activities, ECPs, and independent technical investigations.
- Provides support and participates in the Readiness Improvement Program Reviews, Maintenance Engineering or Logistics reviews and other technical and maintenance related meetings.
- Prepare lessons learned for process improvement.
- This labor category shall perform various tasks related to the development of detailed business processes such, PBL Strategies, Issue Sheets, Logistics Engineering Change Proposal, Critical Item Logistics Review, Degraders, Cost Per Flight Hour management, and Integrated Maintenance Program process improvements.
- In addition, individuals will be responsible for the performance of various tasks related to the development of cost and trend analysis to defend maintenance planning with respect to logistics footprint across the platform, provisioning of spares, depot, and capability standup as well as reduction of total ownership costs
Do you have what it takes?
Education: Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Business discipline. An AS or AA degree plus four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS, or six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS. Required Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience developing and deploying custom applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, & Power BI).
- Experience with SharePoint Online, including creating, configuring, and managing SharePoint Lists, as well as an understanding of SharePoint permissions and security.
- Experience with Dataverse (Common Data Service), including creating and managing tables, relationships, and business rules, as well as an understanding of Dataverse security model and roles.
- Experience with data modeling principles and database design with relational database concepts. Ability to design efficient and scalable data structures.
- Familiarity with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g., Teams, Outlook, Azure Active Directory), including an understanding of how Power Apps integrates with other Microsoft 365 services.
Additional Value Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Access, NALCOMIS/OOMA, Concerto, Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with asset management concepts and best practices, work order management systems, preventive maintenance scheduling and optimization techniques, maintenance tracking systems, inventory management systems, and/or experience developing custom reports and dashboards to track key metrics.
Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $75,000-$100,000 annually which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
