Job Summary:



The Brzezinski Lab is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to conduct research on the development of the mammalian retina.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Designing and planning research projects.
  • Performing developmental genetics experiments using mammalian (mouse/human) retinal tissues.
  • Performing routine molecular biological techniques.


Work Location: This role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications:



Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.



  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Ph.D. in a relevant biomedical science discipline


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior vision science research experience
  • Prior experience with cell culture and rodent model systems
  • Experience with cell and molecular biology techniques

  • Strong team player with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and has the ability to work with a diverse group and competing interests.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively explain processes and procedures.
